Sambuca Pistoiese Mountain rises on Pistoiese in the territory which is called Valley Limentra. The town, bordered to the south with the town of Montale, even if some official maps show that Sambuca Pistoiese no borders at any point with it. The history of the country had started with a first settlement Longobardo, until the division during the Middle Ages between two families lords, the Counts of Tin and the Bishop of Pistoia.
